Raw Material Handling
CEPI has introduced TREVIBOX to its portfolio of solutions for macro ingredient storage, a cutting-edge innovation that integrates the features of CEPI’s existing Silsystem and Silbox models into a single, efficient solution. This development is the result of collaboration between CEPI’s engineering and food technology teams, ensuring that TREVIBOX delivers the combined benefits of both systems.
Silsystem, CEPI’s long-standing indoor silo solution, utilizes Trevira fabric, which offers several advantages over traditional steel or aluminum silos. In addition to cost savings, the fabric's antistatic properties ensure safety by preventing static electricity buildup, while allowing the product to breathe and maintain a balanced temperature between the environment and the stored ingredients.
TREVIBOX not only incorporates these features but also adds the advantages of Silbox's fluidized bed technology, enhancing the traceability process through FIFO (First In, First Out) logic. This results in superior metering performance and flour oxygenation, which naturally improves flour quality for better breadmaking outcomes. The dough becomes more elastic, easier to work with, and leads to bread that is softer, more digestible, and retains gas during leavening.
